Ron Yachini, born in Tel Aviv in 1964.  

 

Founded his first startup at age of 27 based on a great idea that had no market at all. We all learn from mistakes, usually ours. Well rounded experience in Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, Investments, New Product Development and General Management with cutting edge organizations (IAF, Scitex, Motorola Semi, Gilat, GVT, IDE Technologies ).

 

I ​Moved into the entrepreneurship arena as well as Venture Capital including investments in Wintegra (acquired by PMC-Sierra for $300M), FilesX (acquired by IBM) and PrimeSense (acquired by Apple for $350M and the technology developer of Microsoft XBOX Kinect sensor that sold 8M units in 60 days of launch).

Optimist by nature and by experience, partially due to the fact that seen how dreams come true and how a great team with a great idea can turn into a great company. Connoisseur of human talent and believes that a great team can take you to the moon, although rather pick a more attractive destination.

Hold an MBA from IMD, Switzerland and MSc in Computer Science from TAU.

 

Happly married to Shlomit and the proud father of Dana and Gili, his best ever venture and seed investment . 

 

Few years ago, after being tiered from repeating the same stories to early stage entrepreneurs, wrote a guide that can send them. As he felt that it is not "perfect", put it in the drawer. In a liberating act, changed the name of it to The Imperfect Guide, to allow him to set it free.
